Bison made its mark at the Natural Products Expo, Anaheim, CA

Delicious, tender, flavorful, where can I buy it!..words we love to hear in the bison industry and these were the constant comments from the over 3000 taste testers. 

Executive Chef Josef Wiewer prepared delicious innovative bison tacos.  Attendees had the opportunity of having world renowned Chef  Wiewer explain the virtues of bison and methods of preparation.

Over the three days of the show representatives of the CBA(Terry Kremeniuk)the NBA (Jim Matheson), SBA(Nial Kuyek)and marketer Dean Andres(Carmen Creek Gourmet Meats) were kept busy answering questions from keen buyers and consumers from across North America and overseas. 

In addition to the CBA display, there were other displays promoting bison products including Canadian Prairie Bison, Roger Provencher. 

This project was supported in part by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada through the CAFI program and through the National Marketing fee attached to bison tags. These programs continue to support strategies to increase awareness and educate consumers about the benefits of bison.
